Review: Maybeline : Fit Me Foundation

So like most, I saw the commerical for the new 'Fit Me' foundation Maybeline launched and became very intruiged. They advertise that it's a light translucanet foundation that allows the real you come to come through. With 18 different shades and SPF 18 in it, you are sure to find the right color. They also launched concealors and powders along with this line.

So I went out and bought the foundation at Target which cost me around $7. First let me say personally that I am not a big foundation person. So when they say it's "fresh, breathing, flawless" why wouldn't that interest me? After a couple days of application I do believe it lives up to what they advertise. I believe this is a good for everyday wear. It evens out my skin tone leaving it looking fresh. It gives me a polished look without having to spend so much time in front of the mirrior. For me its not a good buildable foundation, so if you plan on having a night on the town and want a little more "punch" to your look this wouldn't be the right foundation.

The consistency of the foundation seems a little watery, but provides a good medium application without the cakey packed on look, that also made blending easier. I have yet to try the concealor and powder but I have heard only good things so far. For me and finding the right color was simple. I am light med skin tone so my number is '245', medium beige. For a day of running around doing errands the end result was good. My skintone was still even and not blotchy.

So after all in all I would definitly buy this again. It does everything it says. It lets my skin breathe and gives it a 'airy' look. Now I will go out and try the other products of this line hoping they are just as good as this perfect lightweight foundation.

I'm interested in what you think of the foundation or any of the other products of this collection I have yet to try. Please let me know and leave a comment.
